OUR MISSION
Honor God by loving our neighbors, sharing the gospel and caring for each other.
OUR VISION
Lives changed because Hope Church Cares.
OUR BELIEFS
Bible – We believe that the Bible is God’s Word (John 1:1). We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, infallible,
authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). The Bible is entirely true in all that it says regarding history, geography,
and God. The Bible is the sole source to know, understand, and deepen one’s relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
God – God is triune, one Being eternally existing in three co-equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; these
divine Persons, together possessing the same eternal perfections, work inseparably and harmoniously in
creating, sustaining, and redeeming the world.
Jesus – Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, which is to say, He is Himself God (John 10:30);
He took upon Him our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 2:4-7);
He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world (John 3:16); He arose from the
dead in the body in which He was crucified; He ascended into heaven in that body glorified,
where He is now, our interceding High Priest (Hebrews 4:14); He will come again
personally and visibly to set up His kingdom.
Church – We affirm that the church is a sent people (Matthew 28:18-20), founded and inspired by
the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13). We affirm that the church is the heart of God’s mission for the world.
Salvation – We affirm that salvation is through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), salvation is freely given when one
repents of their sins and puts their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord (Romans 6:23, John 3:16).
Spiritual Maturity – We affirm that the call of every relationship, person, and leader is to live as a spirit filled Christian
who is growing in spiritual maturity, becoming more like Christ every day (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
