Lord, thank you for the day that lies ahead. There’s nothing much planned except a trip to the grocery store, some phone calls to make, and dinner out with friends. It all seems rather ordinary, but I ask that you prepare me for those I meet. Help me see the opportunities to show kindness, give an encouraging word, or pray with someone in need.
